Our selection process is specific – life’s too short for a dud egg. Our guide only includes Melbourne’s best. Each café is exceptional, operating at the top of its game. We don’t use ratings. We simply write it up if it’s brilliant.

Breakfast Out is an independent publication. We review anonymously, we have no advertising affiliations and we often visit cafes several times over to ensure they meet our exacting standards.
